About Kamiele
Passionate about helping you
My name is Kamiele Boston, and I am the owner of Sage & Soul, LLC. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges.

My mission is to empower individuals to develop independence, strengthen self-awareness, and cultivate healthier relationships. My approach weaves emotional wellness, cultural awareness, nervous system education, and relational insight into experiences that feel accessible, reflective, and practical. Colleagues would describe me as being “about the business” and very no nonsense in my approach to getting things done. Clients describe me as compassionate and approachable, while also being direct and empowering. Additionally, they value me as being intuitive, an active listener, supportive and impartial and severely unbiased. I find purpose in being a passenger in helping others to attain healthier, more fulfilling lives.

I help people come home to themselves.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches—including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, insight-oriented work, and culturally sensitive practices—to meet each client’s unique needs.

My areas of specialization include:
-
Coping skills and stress management
-
Anxiety, depression, and grief
-
Relationship stress and life transitions
-
Sexual trauma and religious trauma recovery
-
Sex-positive therapy, including support for alternative and non-traditional lifestyles (polyamory, open relationships, sexual dysfunctions)
Healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about reconnecting with who you have always been beneath the expectations, wounds, and survival strategies that no longer serve you. Together, we create space for greater self-awareness, self-trust, and a life that feels more aligned with your values, needs, and authentic self.

This therapy is for those ready to come home to themselves—one conversation, one insight, and one revolutionary step at a time.

As it relates to clients, I am most excited to work with individuals who are motivated to want more in life. Those who see barriers as temporary and are eager to do the work, both in session and outside, to achieve the overall benefits.
At Sage & Soul, care is tailored to meet your unique needs. I provide individualized evidence-based services designed to meet you where you are, in a supportive environment, with a focus on collaboration and empowerment. Together, we will create a plan that aligns with your goals and helps you move forward with confidence.

-Edwidge Danticat
My mission is to empower clients to develop greater independence and self-awareness, which often leads to healthier relationships and more fulfilling lives. Clients describe me as down-to-earth, compassionate, and direct—challenging when needed, but always with the goal of encouragement and empowerment.

I also take a sex-positive, affirming approach, supporting clients exploring alternative and non-traditional sexual lifestyles, including polyamorous and open relationships, as well as those coping with sexual dysfunction or trauma.
Values
"If I didn’t define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies for me and eaten alive."
-Audre Lorde
At Sage & Soul, we believe healing does not happen in isolation. Each person carries a story shaped by family, culture, ancestry, faith, community, and lived experience, all of which influence how we cope, connect, and understand ourselves. As beautiful as culture is, as a source of strength and wisdom, it can be equally as painful. And when overlooked, important parts of a person’s experience may go unseen. Honoring culture in therapy means approaching your story with curiosity rather than assumptions, recognizing that there is no single “right” way to heal, and creating space to explore what has been passed down, what still serves you, and what may be ready to be released. This process allows therapy to support alignment for a deeper return to authenticity, self-understanding, and wholeness.
